Evoco represents the culmination of Jason’s considerable business experience and expertise in renewable technologies and cleantech solutions, from biofuels to specialty consumer goods. With a background in chemical engineering, Jason began his career in technical positions and quickly progressed to an Executive Board level appointment. Along the way, he leveraged his early experience in the pulp and paper industry to move into the cleantech market, beginning with 1G fuel-grade ethanol production, and progressing into advanced fuels and biochemical technology development and commercialization. A Toronto native, Jason brings over eighteen years of professional experience gained in the US, Canada, China, Brazil, Europe and Russia. This vast experience affords him a unique perspective and a keen ability to develop business in global markets. Jason has a chemical engineering degree from McMaster University and an Executive MBA from Western’s Richard Ivey School of Business.

Vivian’s career in the footwear industry began in England, and has since spanned the globe, seeing him in a variety of roles in the UK, Germany, Italy, and the United States. Throughout his career, Vivian’s overall focus has been in the global marketing of branded footwear, and he brings a wealth of international and technical knowledge to the team. His vast experience in new business development, export development and management, as well as domestic sales and marketing has been gained through years of working with the top footwear brands in industry.
Director of Operations
With her background in engineering, and global expertise in operations and finance, Natalie brings a deep understanding and holistic approach to both the science and the business of Evoco. Having lived and worked in Italy, Dubai and London, Natalie has called Toronto home for several years. She has substantial experience working with various startups, specifically in commercializing new technologies and consulting on sustainability and climate change initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Process and Materials Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Research and Development Manager
Christina completed her Diploma in chemistry at the University of Bremen, Germany. She subsequently began her doctorate studies under Prof. Markuse Kalesse at the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research receiving her Ph.D. from the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany. Under the supervision of Prof. Mark Lautens, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto. Christina’s research interests include the total synthesis of biologically active natural products and compounds, and the development of commercial renewable polyurethane foam.
Director of Asia Operations
Charlotte Cooper Wang
Charlotte coordinates Evoco’s Asia operations, bringing over thirty years of experience in management, with a strong focus on footwear and fashion. Motivated by a strong conviction in Evoco’s sustainability principles, Charlotte is dedicated to sharing the benefits of our environmentally friendly products with customers. To this end, she also works with and trains downstream suppliers in the proper methods of application to ensure that the company’s sustainability goals are achieved. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, Charlotte holds a B.A. degree from National Chengchi Univeristy in Taiwan, as well as a Fashion Marketing Certificate from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
